Values Restoration and Enhancement Seminar last April 29-May 1, 2017.

We attended the Values Restoration and Enhancement Seminar last April 29- May 1, 2017 (for 3 days) held at IGB Function Hall, Brgy. Catagman Island Garden City of Samal with the participation of the different departments from the Local Government Unit, punong barangays of IGACOS and other members of Maria Police.

Day 1. They explained to us regarding the topic entitled work for unity and this is all about Maria Police that comes from latin word "Maria" (Mary) "police" (city). The Maria Police also known as the city of Love, they have shared the thought about the Maria Police.

Day 2. They gave us an overview about the story of Kiara, the founder of the particular group so called Maria Police. Kiara spread the good news that she found in the bible particular on the 10 commandments. there is one commandment that touched kiara the most, and this is "Love your neighbor as you love yourself''. The realization about the verse: there is unity when there is love. We also had a meditation activity that helped us enlighten our minds and heart as we live our life according to his purpose.

Day 3. They presented to us other testimony from the person who experienced crisis that caused her and her husband too much anxiety. They couldn't escape from depression, they lost their minds on how to resolve their problems and they became weaker until such time the wife had a serious health problem. But eventually God didn't allow them to struggle; God strengthened them to remain strong. The main core that saved them from pain was GOD.

This big impact to us by Maria police stories that they have shared. It encouraged us to keep our faith to God whatever life may bring. If you believe God then you are lucky, even if you do not see God.
